I love the 7 layer dip…but the Jalapeno Popper Spread is less likely to be dropped all over the floor or on clothes…especially as excited as men get watching the game! :) LOL

All i can say about the Seven Layer dip is…Love it ! This recipie is always a great hit everywhere I go, easy to prepare and head out the door. No fuss in cooking the meat just layer it all in a dish and on your way.

we loved this! we used a 9×13 pan, and it was the perfect size.. we were skeptical because we dont like refried beans, but we liked them in this recipe! we did leave out the tomatoes, green peppers, and olives, and it was still delicious! though next time, i will try and drain my salsa a bit because this got watery after it sat in the fridge for a while. between me and two other people, we ate almost the entire pan of this in one day!

I love the 7 layer dip too. I’ve never tried the Popper cream, but it looks yummy too.

Great dip. I started off with the beans for layer one. The cream cheese , sour cream, and half of taco seasoning mix(makes it very spicy)mixed together for layer two. I added guacamole for layer three.Diced tomatoes for layer four. Black olives for layer five. Salsa for layer six and lots of shredded cheese for layer seven. I skipped onions, lettuce, and peppers and spread my layers in a 13×9 inch glass dish and heated at 350 for 30 minutes and talk about people raving. Everyone wanted to know the recipe. Easy, delicious and def a keeper for a fun appetizer

WoW, the popper spread was great. it was a major hit. I took the hints and doubled the jalapenos and added the bread crumbs. While it was in the microwave I turned on the broiler and popped it in for just a minute to crisp up the top. I was asked for the recipe over and over again.

I took the Jalapeno Popper Spread to a football party & it was DEVOURED! i did what others suggested: used 6 fresh jalapenos, used 1/2 C mayo & 1/2 C sour cream, omitted the chiles, added 1/2 C shredded cheddar, & finished it off with italian bread crumbs & a sprinkle of cheddar. I served it with sliced baguette. next time I make it, I’m going to try adding some pepperjack cheese. It could have been a bit spicier for me.
